btw, I made some custom missions for coop play over at the IL2 sturmovik pacific fighters thread ( I'm using PF standalone as my particular interest lies in the pacific conflict ) they are semi historical shortened flight times, I used the Japanese A6M21-N as a substitute for scout planes taking off from various warships ( they where mostly employed on smaller islands in flights of 4-6 as attackers or interceptors ) , I gave the player/s a choice of sides in the earlier versions but I found out you really can't have some good AI going unless you tweak it a bit so some of the missions are 1 sided, it would be a great help if you guys could take a look and basically "test" it as I've never published it and never got to test it. ( also PM me if you need any particular airframe customize with skins or nose arts I'll see about makin it happen )

We like to keep the flight times down, historical flight times can be BORING. We like some action. lol.

That's why I said "semi historical" I cut down on the flight times ( the longest would be the IJN attack on the 2nd battle of savo island being 10 minutes ) it's not as bad as the original which is over 6 hours ( I tried the pearl harbor mission without the time skip and it almost killed ! ) most of the flight times will be about a good 5-6 minutes before initial action takes place. if there was a flaw it would have to be that I may have put in more flights than people can handle.
